We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Join Growing Roots as a Summer Assistant Teacher supporting our outdoor summer childcare program in Custer, with the potential to grow into a 0–3 Lead Teacher role. We’re looking for a calm, observant, child-centered educator who values outdoor learning, strong relationships, and Montessori-inspired early childhood education.
Lead the vision, operations, fundraising, marketing, and community relationships for Growing Roots Preschool as a part-time Executive Director in Custer, South Dakota. This role is ideal for an organized, community-minded leader who can support long-term growth, strengthen family and local partnerships, and help sustain a high-quality, Montessori-inspired early childhood program.
Support Growing Roots as a substitute teacher with flexible hours and time commitments, helping provide a consistent, caring presence for children when coverage is needed. This role is a great fit for a dependable community member who is patient, responsible, and genuinely good with kids.
